Arsenal were seeing little of the ball with their opponents dominating possession relinquishing any chance of them getting back in the game. This was the gunner’s worse start to a season in sixty seven years, after two nil opening match defeats to newly promoted Brentford and their London rivals Chelsea. This left little to be desired after their six nil emphatic win over a young championship Westbrom side in the league cup.
In contrary Manchester city seem to have found their form after Son’s solitary goal was enough to hand them their first defeat of the season against Tottenham. However they became the first team to score five goals in the last three of their home matches against Everton(last season),Norwich and Arsenal. The champions will be in good spirits especially after missing out on Ronaldo who chose to join their city rivals Manchester united on his second spell at the club.
Pressure continues to mount on Arsenal’s manager after spending big during the transfer window with no results to show up for it.

Manchester city manger Pep Guardiola.

However Guardiola had this to say about his former assistant Arteta,
“He’s beyond a good manager. We were sad when he left. Sometime people expect results immediately. The squad he played today – they had 6, 7 or 8 injured. Important players like Ben White, Thomas Partey. If they trust him they’ll do a good job at Arsenal.”
